Position Title: Assembler Wage: $17.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Thursday Hands-on role assembling and preparing light fixtures for shipment while ensuring accuracy, organization, and quality. Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is ideally seeking a four-day work week to maintain a strong work-life balance. Assembler Responsibilities: - Work to find proper stock location of items and placing on shelf - Boxing or bagging product that will be used as an order component determined by part number - Assembly of light fixtures according to instruction manual - Helps to maintain and meet the daily production goals - Demonstrates the ability to read and understand job orders for each job to determine production requirements - Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean & organized work area - Use box cutters to open boxes if necessary Requirements For Assembler: - Must be able to stand up to 8-10 hours on concrete - Must be able to lift up to and carry 50lbs regularly - Must be able to reach out with both arms and hands, Grasp product constantly through the day with both hands - Must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stooping, bending, turning, twisting, reaching, for an extended period of time - Must be able to make repetitious movements with hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders throughout shift - Work at a fast pace for 8- 10 hours - Must have proficient reading and writing skills - Ability to use small tools occasionally - Must have great attention to detail QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
