Minimum Job Requirements
- Physical- sedentary work, proficient in using a 10 key and proficient in using a PC keyboard. Ability to attend job fairs, schools and other institutions to recruit new employees.
- Working Hours- fulltime (40 hrs/week) employment
- Occasionally move products or office materials independently weighing up to 30 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Occasionally stand (if able) for an extended period of time when attending career fairs or employment events.
- Personal Traits- Good communication and telephone skills with pleasant demeanor. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate company orientations for new hires
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS personnel files
- Provide support to supervisors when dealing with disciplinary actions including supporting the documentation of these actions.
- Support the resolution of employee conflict
- Serve as a resource to employees within the scope of the position
- Manage employee change paperwork and effectively communicate changes
- Conduct in-person and phone interviews with candidates
- Monitor and track compliance training completions and certifications in KPA
- Administer appropriate interview process and hiring assessments
- Work with staffing agencies to obtain temporary employees. Maintain relations
- Perform reference and background checks
- Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process
- Manage new hire paperwork
- Stay current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations and participate in career fairs and drive community outreach programs.
- Train employees on company policies
- Develop training tools.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

- Experienced in the use of Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and also as a team. Be self-motivated and driven
Education and Experience Minimum Education: Associate's degree in human resources or related field, or 2-3 years' experience in Human Resources. Bachelor's degree preferred.
