Description

The GSE & Facilities Technician helps to monitor and maintain Ryan Air's

Ground Services Equipment & Facilities at all stations. Maintenance responsibility to include

Automotive, Heavy Equipment, HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, & Electrical assets. The GSE & Facilities Technician will perform the following:

Travel on a rotational or as-required schedule to all Ryan Air Stations to carry out listed

duties of the position. Trip locations, durations, and frequency determined by

Management/Technician communication, scheduled maintenance needs, station

emergency needs, and environmental conditions. Trips not likely to extend beyond 5 days

but may do so in rare circumstances.

Assists the GSE & Facilities Department Management and Ryan Air Station Management

with equipment repairs and maintenance needs, such as: failure diagnosis, solution

troubleshooting, preparing parts lists for procurement, scheduled maintenance, and minorto-

moderate emergency repairs.

Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining up-to-date company-wide safety

training and operational programs related to GSE & Facilities Department assets to meet

requirements for OSHA, Federal, State and Local regulations.

Conducts on-site inspections to ensure that all vehicles company-wide have required

documents (Registration, Insurance Card, SIDA Badging, DOT Badging).

Conducts on-site inspections to ensure that cargo-handling trucks company-wide that are

required to have a USDOT # comply with the regulatory requirements of the Federal Motor

Carrier Safety Administration.

Utilizes Asset Management Software to assist in creating, tracking, and fulfilling scheduled

maintenance of company-wide GSE & Facilities Department Assets.

Utilizes Asset Management Software to assist in trip planning, scheduling, and completion

of station work orders relating to GSE & Facilities Department Assets.

Coordinates with Ryan Air Station Management to ensure adequate support equipment is

available for safe and efficient operations.

Assists GSE & Facilities Department Management in development of asset replacement

program through communication of station needs.

Monitors and maintains company-wide station inventory of service and common repair

parts for GSE & Facilities Department Assets utilizing Asset Management Software.

Works closely with GSE Manager or GSE & Facilities Director for tasking, scheduling,

procurement, problem solving, and needs.

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities

but can have oversight responsibilities of contractors and other Ryan Air employees conducting

ground service equipment related tasks.

Other duties as assigned.



Must be able to travel to remote Ryan Air locations and lodge in Ryan Air stations to complete tasks.

Have ability to analyze and solve technical problems.

Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Have ability to work with minimal supervision using independent judgement in decision-making.

Be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Have ability to establish a working relationship with local professionals.

Must have Database management, Excel, and Word experience.

Must be high school graduate or equivalent.

Heavy Equipment/Automotive maintenance and repair experience required.

HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Carpentry skills preferred.

Must be able to pass a ten-year security background check for airport badging.

Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be able routinely lift 70 pounds.

Schedule: Week-on/week-off 5x12 remote work shift. Scheduling may vary due to variable workload.
