Your role

As a Project Lead, Process Filtration, your mission is to efficiently manage product localization projects at our Rock Hill, SC manufacturing facility for our Quality Air division by collaborating cross-departmentally and managing the project's scope, timeline, budget, and overall quality.



Duties/Responsibilities:



Project Leadership & Execution


*Lead the end-to-end planning, design, and implementation of a new production line for process filtration and other products as needed.
*Oversee the setup of an application lab to support product development, testing, and customer engagement.
*Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
*Coordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, supply chain, operations, R&D, quality, HR) and external vendors or contractors.



Technical & Operational Oversight


*Work with existing manufacturing locations and internal Subject Matter Experts of the current product to define equipment specifications, layout, and process flow for the production line.
*Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
*Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automation, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
*Support commissioning, validation, and ramp-up of production activities.



Team & Stakeholder Collaboration


*Build and lead cross-functional project teams.
*Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to leadership and stakeholders.
*Facilitate training and knowledge transfer for production and lab personnel.



Production Line Development


*Define and implement manufacturing processes for membrane-based , pleated filter cartridges and modules.
*Select and integrate equipment for cleanroom production, sterilization, and packaging.
*Ensure compliance with FDA CFR Title 21, ISO 13485, USP Class VI and cGMP standards throughout the design and implementation phases.
*Drive process optimization, automation, and scalability for future growth.
*Establish SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for all products and processes to ensure production quality, accuracy and compliance with the aforementioned standards.



Application Lab Development


*Design lab capabilities to support filtration performance testing, customer trials, and product development.
*Select and procure lab equipment and instrumentation.
*Establish lab protocols, documentation, and data management systems.


Supervisory Responsibilities: None

To succeed, you will need

  • Experience in filtration, fluid handling, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Experience in leading end-to-end in, planning, design, and implementation of a new manufacturing production line.
  • Experience with the setup of application labs to support product development, testing, and customer engagement.
  • Experience working with highly regulated products and ISO cleanrooms is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and lab operations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading projects with Office365 tools such as Teams, Planner, SharePoint etc.



Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, production line setup, or process engineering.


Preferred Skills:



  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and process simulation software.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and GMP practices.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times (occasionally).
