Your role

Mission
Contribute to the group business targets through the improvement of our sourcing processes and methods in order to obtain the lowest total cost, not necessarily the lowest price; To define, develop and manage cooperation with our suppliers; To safeguard and continuously improve product, service, and process quality; To optimize the Purchasing process; To search for goods, services, and process innovation; To support Profitable and Sustained Growth; and Strive for innovation in Sustainability and Responsibility through Purchasing.


Roles and Responsibilities
o Manage RFx processes, negotiation, and contracting
o Managing relationships with suppliers and internal customers
o Proactively seek and lead innovative ways to improve the procurement process
o Coordinate and communicate purchasing policies and procedures to suppliers and internal Customers
o keep the internal customer always updated with the progress of projects or actions
o Right and fast execution of strategies to align with business growth and sustainability
o Manage Suppliers, assigned commodities, and Contracts
o Create and analyze spending reports
o Generate and implement cost reduction and quality improvement projects
o Assure supplier compliance with the AC Business Code of Conduct
o Provide training and support related to SAP, SRM, and Purchasing process.
o Involve an appropriate number of suppliers in a fair and concise manner for the acquisition of goods and services
o Implement CO2 reduction initiatives
o Track Supplier Diversity

To succeed, you will need

Qualifications
o Experience in sourcing, supply chain, supply management, procurement, or Purchasing
o Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
o Demonstrated business and financial acumen
o Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms, RFx and project management tools
o Experience with process building and efficiency mining


Supervisory Responsibility
Manage supply partners and lead projects.


Experience
Five years of full-time, professional supply management experience (not clerical or administrative);

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Related field preferred, CPSM preferred


Skills
Manage self, projects, and suppliers with limited supervision; ability to learn commodities, services, and structures; exceptional customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders; able to understand commercial contract language; project tracking; business and mechanical acumen; strong ability to drive projects through completion and lessons learned.


Travel
Occasional planned domestic and international travel.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco Office in Rock, Hill, SC
