Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$78,200.00 to$130,400.00.

Position Details:

The Sr. Analyst, VOC Strategy will derive insights from what customers say and use the insights to influence and inform strategies across the business. You will help create a holistic view of customer experience. Additionally, you will be an advisor in design and the execution of voice of customer programs and strategies at Grainger.

You will work with cross-functional team to understand and influence VOC opportunities and provide insights that inform and promote growth for the business. You will report to the VOC Manager, Data, Analytics and Integration. This is a hybrid role based out of the Grainger Lake Forest, IL headquarters with flexibility to work from our Chicago, IL Merchandise Mart office periodically.

You Will:
  • Design, implement and evaluate reports, data systems, advanced analytics, and tools to deliver information to internal partners regarding the end-to-end customer journey
  • Perform detailed, advanced analysis to identify trends, operational issues and exceptions to drive improvement in financial outcomes, customer experience, and team performance
  • Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements, and then translate those requirements into a final product that adds value to internal teams
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to simplify, enhance, engineer, and re-engineer complex reporting processes and data systems
  • Analyze and translate large sets of raw data, correlate multiple metrics and present actionable conclusions to leadership and customers
  • Participate in developing and implementing reporting standards to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify needed data to implement improvements and efficiencies
  • Take leadership roles of departmental project teams and coach junior team members in advanced-level techniques
You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years experience with advanced data analysis, reporting and cross-functional collaboration that supports driving business outcomes.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, primarily in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SQL, Business Intelligence (Power BI, SAP Business Objects, Tableau), Snowflake, Teradata, and/or other database/reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to foster, manage, and leverage relationships across the organization.
  • Self-direction with accountability to make sound business decisions while demonstrating effective time-management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business maturity to support senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate information requests into practical output results.
