Willdan Lighting & Electric is seeking an initiative-taking and self-directed project manager with strong knowledge of NYC local laws for energy efficiency.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead project development efforts in coordination with other team members.
  • Support the Willdan team responsible for developing direct-install lighting projects for New York Power Authority (NYPA).
  • Develop lighting retrofit solutions to comply with the NYC LL 88 requirements.
  • Review and calculate energy savings meeting NYPA's submission requirements.
  • Compile and submit final Master Energy Agreement reports.
  • Coordinate all efforts with the SnapCount team members for NYPA lighting audits.
  • Support product selection complying with NYPA's product requirements.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or MS degree in a related field preferred.
  • Lighting audit and solution development experience; 5+ years preferred.
  • Experience in developing and promoting commercial lighting measures.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Proficient in computer technology (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point).
  • Understanding of local energy efficiency regulations.
