General Summary of Position: Responsible for providing direct support to the Department and Department Chair for articulating and implementing the Mission of the Francis College of Engineering. Provides program and administrative assistance to faculty, staff, and students to support teaching, research, service, student recruiting, and outreach activities of the department. Responsibilities include developing and implementing procedures, managing the Department Office and student workers, overseeing student success, and retention initiatives within the department, and supporting faculty and staff needs. The position will manage outreach initiatives and create programming with corporate (including IAB members) and STEM pipeline (K-12) partners, to support workforce development initiatives in the Plastics Engineering field.
