Your Tasks

As a Sun Care Sales Representative for Naples, FL, you will be the face of our premium sun protection products, driving growth and building lasting relationships with our valued customers. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by educating clients on the importance of sun care, delivering customers exceptional service, and ensuring our products are top-of-mind in your territory. This role is responsible for independently driving store-level sales and market share growth for key retailers Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens and other select stores to achieve our sun care business objectives. In addition, you will collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute best-in-class merchandising solutions to win in-store and enhance the value of Beiersdorf's brands. Candidates must reside in or near Naples, FL.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Maximize sales in your assigned territory through the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business model:

    • Ensure our customer "Four P" (product, price, place, promotion) plans agreed to at headquarters are executed in assigned stores within territory, with minimal supervision. Use independent judgement, knowledge of how your specific territory works, and relationships with accounts to ensure the plans are strategically executed to increase store-level sales and market share growth
    • Leverage relationships with store decision makers to negotiate increased brand presence through secondary locations and incremental displays
    • Ensure product is strategically packed out at shelf during peak season, major promotions and holiday periods
    • Create and manage detailed weekly store visit schedule and route within assigned territory, based on business objectives and retailer needs, meeting call coverage targets monthly
    • Responsible for effectively managing and partnering with a part-time resource "Merchandiser" to meet critical business objectives
    • Partner with other Business Units during Suncare off-season to provide retailer support
    • Manage and track product ordering, surveys, and product display suggestions in all customers, ensuring product-to-shelf success


  • Efficiently and effectively manage inventory in vans and mini warehouses. This includes successful inventory counts that closely align with shipment and sales data
  • Share best practices and strategic, new business opportunities with Suncare team and communicate unique market dynamics/insights to activate during peak season

Your Profile

  • Reside within territory geographic area and ability to travel within Territory, up to 4 hours
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • A minimum of 1-year related sales or merchandising experience required
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License, to operate/drive company provided vehicle
  • Ability to effectively build customer relationships and credibility with various store level personnel and departments
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Demonstrated selling and negotiation ability, including excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Prioritization and organizational skills
  • Problem solving/solution finding ability
  • Inventory management experience preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Office Suite knowledge, proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds and move greater than 100 cases per day as needed
