Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and insights-driven Research Consultant to lead research initiatives supporting the M&R Medicare Supplemental business. This role is critical in driving business growth and improving member experience by delivering actionable insights that inform strategy and address longstanding pain points. The role will manage a research budget, oversee and execute dozens of high-impact projects, and serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership.

This position follows a hybrid schedule withfour in-office days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to build execute research plans that effectively address the needs of the M&R Medicare Supplemental business
  • Scope, lead, execute, and activate on dozens of research projects annually to support business growth and improve member experience
  • Manage a research budget ranging from $1M to $1.5M, prioritizing high impact efforts
  • Collaborate effectively with senior management, executive leadership, digital leaders, business leaders, analytics, Strategic Insights teams, and external research partners
  • Conduct custom market research primary and secondary, quant and qual projects
  • Have in-depth knowledge of market trends and key competitors relevant to the M&R Medicare Supplemental business
  • Be an effective storyteller to influence and impact senior executive decision-making
  • Synthesize findings from various research sources (primary, secondary, market & consumer trends, & behavioral) to deliver actionable insights and concisely communicate findings
  • Effectively present customer stories to wide audiences with a bias towards actionable recommendations.
  • Solid collaboration skills and cross-functional alignment skills
  • Effectively juggle multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring reporting is accurate and easy to digest
  • Contribute to the success of a solid Strategic Insights team as a collaborative team member

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of consumer insights experience
  • Solid experience in scoping and leading research studies
  • Experience/expertise in the Medicare space
  • Both quantitative and qualitative, and primary/secondary expertise
  • Proven solid relationship building skills, both externally (e.g., vendor partners) and internally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of consumer insights experience
  • Medicare Supplement research and insights experience
  • Client and vendor side consumer insights experience
  • Experience navigating large, complex companies in a matrix environment
  • Proven solid project management experience and leadership skills
  • Proven solid communicator comfortable sharing insights with leaders across the organization

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
