As a premier supplier of flight-critical mechanical systems and structures, we support programs ranging from rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft to satellites and space vehicles. We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety and environmental compliance programs within a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment. You'll ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (including OSHA, EPA, and DOT), drive continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as regulatory documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and regulatory bodies. Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. COMPUTER SKILLS Must be proficient in basic computer skills and MS Office programs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited resources exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
