The Opportunity: Quality Engineer - Growth Optimization & Personalization
Joining the Adobe Growth Engineering Team, you will use Adobe technologies and data-driven insights to ensure the quality integration, deployment, and uptime of growth optimization and personalization experiments across different Adobe free tools. Your main task will be to confirm that experiments effectively encourage users to trial, subscribe, or upgrade, while also maintaining high-quality user experiences.
What you'll Do
Test and validate new programmable growth marketing experimentation surfaces and SDKs built into Adobe applications Validate experiment elements: A/B test implementations, personalization logic, conversion tracking, cross-platform compatibility, and data accuracy Develop tests and test automation to support functional tests (e.g., unit, integration, feature, regression, acceptance) and non-functional test (e.g., performance, security, stress) based on technical analysis and complexity. Perform deep technical debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for failures and complex technical issues Serve as a product expert providing valuable expertise and develop test frameworks for product development
What you need to succeed
Familiar testing with contemporary web and browser technologies and tools like JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, Node.js, Bootstrap and more. Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) Proficiency in debugging tools, browser dev tools, network analyzers, performance monitoring tools, and network traffic analysis (Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Wireshark) Able to quickly understand and interpret build and technical specifications and provide QA time estimates Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows Experience with API testing and validation tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 5-8 years of hands-on quality engineering experience
Additional Desired Experience
Proficient knowledge of A/B testing methodology, experiment lifecycle, and growth optimization principles and/or hands-on experience with personalization platforms and experimentation tools Familiarity with Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst), Adobe Target, or Adobe Journey Optimizer Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software (including Photoshop, Express, Lightroom, Firefly) Familiarity with Adobe Document Cloud tools (Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Pro, Sign, Scan)
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $92,900 -- $183,800 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
