Loan Collections Representative

Staffmark is currently seeking a Loan Collections Representative to join our client's team in Abilene. If you have strong communication skills, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 1st Shift | Full-time | On-site | Monday - Friday (exact hours may vary)

In this role, you will conduct high-volume outbound calls to borrowers, handling each interaction with professionalism and care. You'll work to recover past-due accounts while maintaining a strong customer service approach.

Responsibilities:

• Contact borrowers via phone, email, and mail regarding delinquent accounts
• Negotiate payment arrangements in line with company policies
• Accurately update account information and document collection activity
• Provide excellent service while complying with all banking regulations
• Work with internal departments to resolve disputes and escalate delinquent accounts when needed
• Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism

What You Bring to the Table:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
• 1+ years of experience in collections, customer service, or financial services
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities
• Comfortable using banking software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be available for on-site work and full-time training
