Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Specialist Location: Danville, KY- 40422 Duration: 6 months Pay Rate: $20.16/hr. on w2 without benefits Job Description: Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment Do not want candidates with heavy forklift operations,. This role is mainly in the shipping office scanning documents and helping with shipping documents. They must be very detailed oriented as the files have to be scanned correctly to the customer files for future audit requirements. They also need to have computer experience. Verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Receives, records, packages and ships all incoming materials and verifies counts, while following policies, procedures and safety regulations..
