Job Description

Position Summary

The Program/Project Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting and coordinating construction project activities within Construction Services. This position is responsible for maintaining electronic work logs, balancing project budgets, coordinating training schedules, and facilitating communication between Design Services and Construction Services. The role also supports project scheduling and documentation to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

Key Responsibilities
* Serve as a liaison between Design Services and Construction Services, ensuring quality control and accurate documentation.
* Develop and maintain construction work logs and in-progress schedules; assist with project priority reports.
* Organize and update project documentation including drawings, specifications, estimates, and hazardous materials surveys.
* Coordinate and participate in project meetings including kick-off, pre-construction, and scheduling sessions.
* Attend weekly meetings and provide detailed reports and notes; manage bid projects and work order reports.
* Verify project billing data and serve as backup for entering work orders and project details.
* Generate weekly project status reports and update construction schedules in collaboration with managers and supervisors.
* Maintain training schedules and ensure supervisors are informed of upcoming sessions.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Must possess a valid driver's license, which will allow legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $28.85 - $33.65 per hour

Grade: GGS-009
