Job Details

Under general direction of the Director, Product Marketing, this position manages the activities associated with the Marketplace eCommerce solution, including product marketing, manufacturer-funded program implementation, sales enablement activities, pharmacy customer messaging, tradeshow registration support, and key buying initiatives.

The Manager for Marketplace Marketing will be responsible for eCommerce efforts including product catalog management, seasonal campaign coordination, publication editing, implementing seller promotions, digital marketing analytics, graphic design and proofreading, brand management, and performance improvement initiatives that is in line with retail trends and the brand's direction. In addition, the Marketing Manager for Marketplace will collaborate cross-functionally with Cencora departments such as Category Management, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, and Strategic Meetings Management to maximize impact, create unique resources and deliver on commitments to pharmacy customers, field associates, and manufacturers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and maintain digital marketing & eCommerce strategies tomeet Marketplace objectives.

  • Streamlines marketing and communication as well as print and digital strategiesin areas of content creation, marketing communications and paid selleradvertising.

  • Optimize the customer journey to enhance engagement, conversion, and user experience.

  • Supports the development, sales, analytics, and execution of seller-fundedmarketing activities to further increase product sales

  • Generates, tracks, and invoices for program fees related to seller-fundedmarketing activities

  • Assist in developing and implementing CRM strategy, gaining customer insightthrough in-depth consumer data analysis and interpretation, resulting insegmentation and targeted communication to drive consumer engagement andlong-term brand loyalty.

  • Organizes and leads the project management of brand and marketing campaignsto ensure milestones are met and issues are addressed.

  • Plans and executes the use of web, marketing databases, CRMs, email, digital,and paid seller advertising campaigns.

  • Measures and reports performance of digital marketing, public relations,traditional marketing and other campaigns, and assesses against goals (ROI andKPIs).

  • Maintains monthly reporting information for the marketing department includingbudget adherence and marketing analytics reporting.

  • Develops content for the corporate website, the company's industry thoughtleadership blog/site, intranet site and other promotional materials.

  • Maintains effective internal & external communication resources to maximizebrand consistency and strength across all markets served.

  • Manages the ongoing relationships between the marketing department and keystrategic partners/vendors and their ongoing measurement of performance viaquarterly business reviews.

  • Assists with the coordination of trade show activities including the developmentof marketing and merchandising opportunities as well as the creation of custommaterials and messaging content.

  • May manage and direct the activities of full or part-time associates.

  • Must be willing to travel to company events such as trade shows and marketingmeetings.

  • Performs related duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience

  • Requires broad training in fields such as marketing, business administration, communications,journalism, English, marketing or similar vocations generally obtained throughcompletion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination ofexperience and education

  • At least 3-5 years of digital marketing experience (social media management, emailmarketing campaigns, etc.)

  • 5+ years of managerial experience preferred

Skills and Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of eCommerce best practices

  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Mirakl, Smartsheet, and Excel

  • Strong communication skills, especially writing

  • Effective time management skills, ability to meet aggressive deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships and provide customer service to internal staff

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong organizational skills, including project management; attention to detail

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Strong negotiating skills

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
