How you'll make an impact:

We're looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to support the day-to-day social presence of one of the most influential platforms in music. You'll be responsible for creating engaging, real-time content that connects with fans, celebrates artists, and amplifies the channel's unique voice across platforms.

You'll be the digital heartbeat of SiriusXM's social presence, translating the energy of the music and artist community into compelling social content that fans love. By blending cultural fluency in current and emerging pop music and pop culture with data-informed strategy, you'll help grow the channel's reach, deepen fan connection, and make sure SiriusXM content is part of the conversation.

How you'll make an impact:

We are looking for a passionate and seasoned Social Media Manager to support the day-to-day social presence of SXM's emerging sports platform and help shape social strategy across multiple sports properties. You'll be responsible for creating engaging, real-time content that connects with fans, celebrates athletes and various memorable moments in sports, and amplifies the channel's unique voice across platforms.

You'll be the digital heartbeat of SiriusXM's Sports social presence, translating the energy of the sports, music and artist community into compelling social content that fans love and guiding high-level content planning and priorities. By blending cultural fluency in Sports with data-informed strategy, you'll help grow the channel's reach, deepen fan connection, and make sure SiriusXM content is part of the conversation.

What you'll do:

  • Develop a cohesive social strategy across SiriusXM's sports properties, guiding content priorities and driving long-term audience growth.

  • Develop and refine social strategy across SiriusXM's sports properties, identifying opportunities for growth and channel differentiation.

  • Leverage data and audience insights to shape long-term social strategy, optimize content priorities, and guide decision-making across sports properties.

  • Oversee the development of creative assets-photo, video, memes, reels, and short-form content-that resonate with fans and reflect the tone of Sports.

  • Monitor social trends and platform features to keep Sport's content fresh, timely, and culturally relevant.

  • Partner with colleagues in programming, on-air talent, artists, and marketing teams to amplify key moments and campaigns to shape integrated campaigns and ensure alignment across teams.

  • Collaborate with SiriusXM brand social handles when relevant.

  • Analyze content performance and audience insights, sharing regular reporting with stakeholders.

  • Stay on top of sports news, major cultural moments, and fan conversations to keep content in tune with the community.

What you'll need:

  • 6+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a sports brand, media company, or entertainment property including experience developing social strategy for sports or entertainment brands

  • Demonstrated ability to guide social direction across multiple properties or franchises."

  • Strong interest in and knowledge of major sports categories, including the NFL, NBA, NASCAR, NHL, MLB, and broader sports culture.

  • Experienced in delivering clear communication to large teams, including presenting updates, providing feedback, and facilitating collaboration across diverse team members.

  • Proficient in content creation for social - producing/capturing content via iPhone/Android, editing video and photo.

  • Proficient in copywriting, tagging, publishing to social platforms, etc.

  • Deep knowledge and genuine passion for sports and sports culture.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and native content formats.

  • Experience creating engaging content, including short-form video, social copy, and trend-reactive moments.

  • An analytical mindset with experience using social tools to report on performance and shape strategy.

  • Excellent writing skills and a strong sense of voice, tone, and audience.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities, and work cross-functionally.

  • Comfortable being on-site at events, in-studio with talent, or capturing behind-the-scenes content as needed.

  • Experience with tools like Sprout or native platform analytics is a plus.

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the annual salary for this this position to be between $67,000 and $85,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
