SUMMARY: The Senior Software Engineer is a key position to leverage US Navy and the Department of War (DoW) in building and maintaining data pipeline and data visualization, services, and training in support of data management of a logistics application portfolio to engineer, optimize performance, and implement strategies that enables advanced analyses of analytics. The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for the sustainment of the current Application Portfolio on NMCI Developer hardware, planning and executing migration of the Data Pipeline and tools to the US Navy Jupiter and DoW's Advana data analytics platform. This position collaborates closely with data scientists, logistics experts, and users to innovate data visualization aids utilizing tools such as Tableau. Flexibility, willingness to learn, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment is crucial. The successful Sr. Software Engineer will bring an entrepreneurial mindset to guide integrated, intuitive, efficient, and effective solutioning exceeding client requirements and objectives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and manage Jupiter/Advana and Tableau using data visualization tools to build, test, and deploy and maintain solutions that enable the client's ability to manage and continuously improve their processes.
