Project Manager Location:Chula Vista, CA Job ID: #71682 Pay Range: $45-55 Looking for a Project Lead that will support the Airbus A220 & Embraer E190-E2 Program office managing the nacelle components. This position will primarily involve responsibility for the PW1500 and PW1900 Exhaust components and Engine Mount components. This position requires leadership of a cross functional team to manage ongoing supply and planned product improvements with the use of CORE/lean tools to achieve operational excellence. This position will be accountable for cost, schedule performance, and on time delivery, and serve as the interface between the organization and the customer. It will also focus on implementation and management of initiatives that drive producibility, quality, and cost improvements, while also providing support for sustaining operations and supply chain. NOTE: Candidates must be available to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally when circumstances permit. Responsibilities: * Work under the direction of the Program Manager with limited oversight * Lead and coordinate key activities of cross functional teams, and manage key actions with supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing teams. * Lead and participate in lean/CI activities to implement improvements and drive the elimination of waste in support of program cost, delivery and quality goals. * Understand and manage risks and proactively work to resolve issues impacting program goals * Engagement and participation in implementing key program processes to drive communication, coordination and efficient functioning across the program.
