Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provides advanced technical solutions to solve for a wide range of physical security and security service's needs across the organization.
  • Independently determines and develops project plans for new or expanding physical security requirements.
  • Maintains and manages physical security policies, access control procedures and the credentialing requirements, specific to the organization's facilities.
  • Collaborates with management and government representatives to provide appropriate and timely security support.
  • Provides updates or troubleshooting needs as necessary, for the organization's enterprise-wide Access Control System.
  • Interfaces with outsourced security vendors and Government agency representatives specific to compliance inspections, investigating incidents, or coordinating walk-thru's.
  • Directly involved with facility access controls and management processes, to include clearance verifications and badge issuances and tracking procedures.
  • Issuing employee badges, programing access cards, and resetting PINs, as necessary.
  • Programing User codes as needed for company-managed intrusion detection systems.
  • Serves as a primary POC for validating specific PII for new employees at the onboarding stage.
  • Responsible for maintaining access control rosters and logs for the company's collaterally cleared facilities and SCIF's.
  • Assists in the development and management of the security officer's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) handbook.
  • Supervise, develop work schedules, and conducted perform reviews of the company's on-site, contracted security staff.
  • Provide cross-functional security support for the onboarding and out-processing of employees and sub-contractors.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports for security management, as requested.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
  • Possess either; a BS with 5-7 years of related experience, a MS with 3-5 years of related experience, a PhD with 0-2 years of related experience
  • Possess advanced experience and understanding of Lenel, Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) and Milestone software and systems.
  • Requires professional level writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to be onsite daily within the Chantilly, VA area.
