The Team: The Corporate team unites a variety of functions at Morningstar including design, marketing, finance, quality, talent & culture, corporate communications, legal, compliance, strategic planning, and technology with the goal of keeping our business running smoothly. Each of these functions plays an essential role in supporting our company's infrastructure, day-to-day operations, and ongoing strategic initiatives.

We are seeking a Global Career Development & Growth Solutions Lead to build and scale Morningstar's global Career Development Center of Excellence (CoE). This role will design and deliver innovative career development solutions for a global audience, oversee an internal coaching program, and lead the creation of a global internship program.

Reporting into the Global Director of Career Development and Transformation, the Lead will also run key learning and development experiences such as Morningstar Development Program (MDP) Academy, while creating a roadmap for early career development programs that strengthen our talent pipeline. Partnering closely with the Global Director of Career Development and Transformation, this role will shape and operationalize Morningstar's global Career Development CoE practice.

This position is in our Chicago office and is not open for relocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a global Career Development CoE.
  • Launch and oversee an internal coaching program.
  • Design and implement a global internship program.
  • Deliver L&D programs such as MDP Academy.
  • Develop and execute a roadmap for early-in-career development experiences.
  • Partner with business leaders and HRBP's to scale global career development solutions.
  • Lead and successfully execute projects on behalf of, or in partnership with, other Talent & Culture team members in areas such as analytics, process improvements, transformation, program enhancements or new program launches, organizational change, information management, HRIS, and communications.
  • Establish and promote a learning culture and dynamic that continuously cross-trains and transfers knowledge between team members.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in career development, early careers, or L&D.
  • Strong program or project management, operations and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A passion for developing talent and fostering L&D or Career Programs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or on an independent basis.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems on a strategic level.
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence.

Total Cash Compensation Range

$92,525.00 - 157,275.00 USD Annual

Inclusive of annual base salary and target incentive
