Industrial Sewing Machine Operator An industrial sewing machine operator utilizes a sewing machine in order to perform sewing operations for medical pads and restraint straps. This includes assembling covers and restraint straps by sewing the material with an industrial sewing machine to create a strong seam that can withstand regular hospital wear. Our sewing machine operators must adjust the sewing machines according to the specifications provided to them for the project at hand. They must also adjust machine controls and regulate stitching speeds for each order they work on. It is important for all operators to possess in-depth knowledge of industrial sewing machines.
