Requisition ID req34781 Working Title HS Sr Research Specialist Position Grade 13 Position Summary The Division of Nephrology within the Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a highly skilled HS Senior Research Specialist to support and advance research in kidney disease, transplantation, and related conditions. This position plays a critical role in the acquisition, management, analysis, and interpretation of large, complex datasets derived from laboratory, clinical, and community-based studies. The incumbent will directly support faculty investigators through advanced data analysis, study design, research protocol development, and dissemination of findings through manuscripts, reports, and presentations. The HS Sr Research Specialist will also contribute to clinical and laboratory study activities, including human subject research coordination, protocol compliance, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions. This position requires expertise in advanced computational, statistical, and research methods not currently available within existing staff and is essential to meeting grant deliverables, sustaining future funding opportunities, and advancing the Division's reputation as a competitive research partner. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 9 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
