The Dermatology Clinic provides care and treatment to adult and pediatric patients with routine and complex dermatologic conditions. Dermatology CMAs are responsible for patient intake, procedure set-up and assist (e.g., biopsies), medication preparation, wound care and dressings, room turnover, inventorying clinic supplies and instruments, and administrative responsibilities (e.g., patient phone calls, prior authorizations, and prescription refills).

Shift: Full Time (40 hours) / Day Shift, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (May vary slightly depending on location) No weekends!

Education:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program for new medical assistants or work experience as a clinical medical assistant


Licensure/Certification:



  • Completion of CMA certification with the credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hire
  • Valid BLS CPR certification required upon hire; JHH accepts AHA, Red Cross, and military training network


Work Experience:



  • Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CMA experience.
  • MA program externship for new medical assisants

Salary Range: Minimum $18.15/hour - Maximum $27.65/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
