Overview

CGL Facility Management is a leader in justice facility planning and maintenance solutions. We are seeking a Roving Facilities Technician to provide facility maintenance services across multiple sites. This role involves advanced maintenance and repair work, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmithing, and general building upkeep. A company vehicle will be provided for job responsibilities.

Responsibilities



  • Perform maintenance and repair work on facilities and systems across locations
  • Respond to service requests for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other maintenance needs
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure functionality Assist with emergency maintenance situations
  • Install, evaluate, and repair facility systems and machinery
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring readiness and accuracy of inventory
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
  • Travel independently to various job sites on short notice
  • Train and mentor other technicians



Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Skills Trade Certification preferred 4-6 years of experience in facilities maintenance preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, locksmithing, and building maintenance
  • Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Computer proficiency required
