What You Do.



  • Works in conjunction with CP National Customer Business Manager, Director - Retail Merchandising and Director of Sales, to identify opportunities in key markets and customers on retail projects that could increase presentation effectiveness and build brand awareness for our portfolio of Sargento products.
  • Aids CP National Customer Business Manager in developing strategies and tactics for local market accounts within assigned geography.
  • Trains and supports Agency Space Management to ensure merchandising sets support Sargento's retail standards.
  • Supports CP National Customer Business Manager in providing retail scorecarding, process development and reporting for agency partners.
  • Supports trade management and pricing efforts by providing sales analyses that facilitate pricing and promotional efficiency.
  • Ensures all Sargento products meet or exceeds targeted distribution levels and merchandising standards with the assigned geography.
  • Develops sound customer relationships that provide an opportunity for Sargento to grow market share.
  • Provides training, scorecarding, and enhanced communication platforms to CP National Customer Business Manager, Retail Merchandisers, and Agency Retail Management for all critical retail initiatives and issues within assigned geography.
  • Provides training of and use of tools for tracking and monitoring retail results to meet strategic initiatives for CP Sales Management, Retail Merchandisers and Agency Retail Management.
  • Aids with the evaluation of performance of retail operations and Agency Retail Partners, making recommendations to the CP National Customer Business Manager to ensure overall market, customer, and agency effectiveness through scorecarding and supplemental analysis.
  • Interacts with assigned levels of our agency partners to develop stronger retail relationships and assure execution of retail business opportunities in the core markets and key customers.
  • Assists in the development of internal retail training with agencies and internal field sales teams within the assigned geography.
  • Must live within Minneapolis, MN area.
  • Must be able to travel 25-35% of the time.


Your Education and Experience.



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
  • Three to Five years related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
