| Work Location Delicato Vineyards Manteca Position Purpose Under supervision of the security supervisor the security guard is responsible for protecting a person, organization or asset in the case of an incident. Their duties include monitoring a specific area, evicting trespassers and writing reports detailing any occurrences during their shift. The overall duty of a security guard is to protect a company's property, employees and visitors.Functional Responsibility This is a part-time role on Saturdays and Sundays from 12am-8:30am (16 hours a week).Essential Duties 
    
 Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company's premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secureEvicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authoritiesControlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols .Logging in and out trucks, sending them to their docks and checking their seals on their way out7 point inspection on trucksMonitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activitiesProviding detailed reports to management on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurredUsing provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise mannerCalls police or fire departments in case of emergency, such as a fire or presence of unauthorized personsPerforming CPR or first aid when needed

 High School diploma or GED equivalentPrior experience as a security guard18 years of age or older
