OverviewGlobal Marketing Engines & Experiences (E&E) is the team spearheading Microsoft's marketing transformation, weaving a digital fabric that connects every customer to every seller at scale. We are looking for an experienced Director, eCommerce Acquisition Capabilities to transform how we execute marketing and enable sales by bringing new capabilities to our platform. This includes ensuring we have end-to-end visibility into our eCommerce funnel performance leveraging standard taxonomy, tagging and data as well as bringing stronger integration between our MarTech (marketing technology) stack and web properties. To achieve this, this role will be collaborating with key business stakeholders across sales and marketing to define a capability roadmap and work with sales or marketing operations and engineering teams to deliver new functionality. ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding Microsoft's eCommerce and web business programs, objectives, and technology needs in depth.Translating business needs to a capability roadmap and working with business stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements.Analyzing relevant data to assist in defining business requirements and prioritizing features with the highest impact.Ensuring proper tagging and instrumentation is implemented across the eCommerce customer journey and data is available to analytics teams.Ensuring integration between web initiatives and Microsoft's MarTech (marekting technology), including standard data flow and taxonomies.Ensuring new capabilities have the appropriate support or operational processes in place to operate over time and appropriate analytics or reporting to measure impact.Owning project management, communications, timelines, and dependencies to deliver new functionality.Maintain a clear backlog to assist in tracking project status and prioritization.Preparing and delivering executive updates about the status of new capability delivery as a part of an ongoing business performance reviews.Embody our culture and values. | |
