WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staffing Manager / Talent Acquisition Lead to oversee the full lifecycle of talent acquisition across our awarded government contracts. This critical role involves developing strategic staffing plans, sourcing and screening candidates, managing the offer process, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Responsibilities

    Develop and implement effective staffing strategies to meet program and corporate needs.
  • Source and screen candidates using diverse methods including social media, job boards, job fairs, employee referrals, and cleared recruiting platforms.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Negotiate employment contracts and manage the offer process in coordination with HR and program leadership.
  • Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to forecast staffing needs and align recruiting efforts.
  • Stay current on industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices in staffing and recruitment.
  • Prepare reports and analytics on staffing activity, pipeline health, and hiring outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, OFCCP guidelines, and contract-specific staffing requirements.
  • Provide a positive and supportive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with security and onboarding teams to ensure timely clearance processing and start dates.
  • Support proposal efforts by identifying and prequalifying candidates for contingent hires.


Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in staffing or talent acquisition, preferably within the federal contracting space.
  • Experience managing full lifecycle recruiting for TS/SCI cleared roles and working with government customers.

Required Skills

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.

  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.

  • Excellent networking, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with Program Managers and technical teams to define staffing needs.
