WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to support our awarded government contracts. The CSSO will be responsible for managing WOOD's Security Program in accordance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) regulations and customer-specific security guidelines. This role is critical to ensuring the protection of classified information and maintaining compliance with all applicable security requirements.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.



Responsibilities

    Manage and oversee WOOD's Security Program in compliance with DCSA and customer guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters for assigned contracts.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and transmission of classified materials.
  • Maintain personnel security clearances and coordinate with government security offices.
  • Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and training for program staff.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with security regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and submit required security documentation and reports.
  • Support audits, inspections, and investigations related to security.
  • Advise senior leadership on security risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain records of security incidents and corrective actions.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the security program through regular assessments.


Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial security or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of DCSA regulations, NISPOM, and customer-specific security requirements.
  • Experience managing security programs for government contracts.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in security management systems and tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field preferred.
