As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a prominent financial institution location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to promote a welcoming atmosphere, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication to everyone onsite. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by communicating professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institutions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control by monitoring entrances and verifying credentials as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist in emergency response activities, including guiding people to designated areas, when appropriate.
• Document and report all incidents and actions taken during the shift according to company and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
