WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Work with functional leaders to develop and deliver on annual operating budget quarterly forecast and communicate business drivers to various organizational leaders.

  • Review monthly results against financial plan, financial forecast, and prior years with functional leadership teams.

  • Partner with Controllership and the broader Finance organization to explain variances and ensure accuracy of accruals.

  • Build and maintain standard reporting packages for month-end reporting.

  • Find opportunities to optimize existing and build new processes and be a catalyst to nVent's growth trajectory.

  • Contribute significantly to the Finance for the Future initiative, including developing self-service reporting through Tableau and implementing guidelines for data visualization.

  • Support the global FP&A team in delivering timely and accurate annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts.

  • Provide and/or assist on ad-hoc reporting for leadership requests.

  • Be part of a fast-paced environment that welcomes outside perspectives and continuous improvement.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree required.

  • 4+ years experience in or with FP&A, Operational Finance or Corporate Finance required.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with all levels of experience within an organization.

  • Passion for connecting financial data to strategic growth initiatives and driving continuous improvement in reporting.

  • Experienced in ERP systems and enterprise data consolidation to support digital transformation in finance.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and reporting.

  • Knowledgeable in US GAAP and International Accounting Standards (IAS).

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$76,000.00 - $141,100.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
