National Solutions Director

What you will be doing:

The National Directors are experts in the successful application of Informatics Technology products. This position works in conjunction with the Commercial organization in a consultative selling process that focuses on strategic and/or operational challenges within an organization and links those challenges to Informatics Technology solutions. They will assist in advancing Premier's go to market focus areas of a) care transformation; b) margin improvement; and c) digital supply chain.

  • Sales cycle support (growth): Prepare customized sales support material and conduct product software demonstrations for prospects identifying specific opportunities, discuss the specific attributes of how the Informatics Technology solutions will address the prospect's issues, draw from previous experience with other customers and demonstrate return on investment: qualitative, financial and satisfaction, lead substance-driven discussions about the strategic and operational solutions offered through Informatics Technology and demonstrates a superior talent for communicating complex concepts and unlocking the Informatics Technology value proposition

  • Renewal support (retention) - Provide value alignment, demos/subject matter-related presentations; provide voice of the customer feedback/input to impact product development, strategy, and marketing

  • Customer references and competitive intelligence - Support customer references, use case development and competitive intel

Key Responsibilities

Sales Cycle Support (Growth): 50%

Responsibility for partnering with the regional sales team to support and manage critical aspects of the sales cycle for their specific solution domain including but not limited to lead generation, demo, and subject-matter driven presentations, contracting, and ensuring smooth transition to implementation teams.

Renewal Support (Retention): 30%

Responsible for partnering with the sales and account management teams to ensure successful adoption and retention of tools and services aligned to their respective solution domain. Activities include but are not limited to value alignment, demos and other value-added presentations, and renewal contract support.

Customer References and Competitive Intelligence: 20%

Support the development and maintenance of customer references, business cases, and market/competitive intelligence in direct collaboration with the portfolio management team.

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 7 or more years

Education:

Bachelors (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:

  • 10 or more years of experience in consulting, BI, Sales, account management, health system leadership and clinical

Education:

  • Master's degree preferred

Working Conditions: Remote Travel Requirements: Travel 41-60% within the US Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $113,000 - $188,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
