Staffmark is hiring a Technical Associate in Muncie, IN!
If you have a background in manufacturing or maintenance and enjoy hands-on problem-solving, this is a great opportunity to join a team that values technical expertise, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Available Shifts:



  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. (Overtime required up to 2 hours before or after shift)
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. (Overtime required up to 2 hours before or after shift)
  • Must be flexible with scheduling.



Responsibilities:



  • Provide prompt support for assembly equipment issues to minimize downtime, including minor mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment within scheduled parameters
  • Participate in robotics and equipment software training to expand technical skills
  • Support assembly operations through daily machine checks, machine fault recovery, weld jig changes, and minor equipment repairs
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-year technical degree or certification preferred
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience required; 3 years of equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
