AGE Solutions is seeking a Cloud Architect to join our team on an upcoming program supporting our DoD customer in Ft. Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud technologies, systems integration, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks while ensuring mission success. This role involves designing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures that meet DoD mission requirements, compliance standards, and emerging technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the primary technical authority for cloud strategy, architecture, and implementation
  • Design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions across multiple environments (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP) as well as hybrid and tactical edge environments
  • Ensure compliance with DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG)
  • Partner with program managers, engineers, and government stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical cloud solutions
  • Develop and maintain cloud roadmaps, reference architectures, and technical documentation


Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in cloud engineering, cybersecurity or systems engineering
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance
  • DoD 8140 Role and Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II+ or Information Assurance Management (IAM) II+ Certification (i.e. CISSP, SecurityX, Security+ etc)
  • Demonstrated expertise with at least one major cloud provider. Expertise with multiple CSPs is preferred
  • Experience leading and facilitating technical engagements with Government customers, contractors and CSPs
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical capabilities roadmaps and other strategic planning artifacts
  • Possess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense security requirements as applied to their subject matter expertise
  • Have experience working in an Information Technology environment similar in size (or larger) and scope


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Professional certifications from Azure and AWS


Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000

This position is part of a pipeline for a future opportunity supporting a DoD customer. Employment is contingent upon contract award and government customer approval.
