Job Title: Industrial Engineer I
Duration: 9 to 10 months

Location: Whiteland IN 46184
Pay Rate: $40.00 - $42 hourly

Schedule/Hours: M-F 8AM to 5PM

JOB SUMMARY

* Prior work experience in a similar role.

Job Summary:
Assists with the design, improvement, and installation of integrated manufacturing or administrative systems which use people, materials, information, equipment, and energy.


Key Responsibilities:

Assists with the creation of standard work methods for new and current production lines.
Assists with the design of safe and efficient workstations for manufacturing environments, using plant layout, ergonomic, and work station design principles.
Assists with cost analysis on make vs. buy decisions for component or sub-assemblies.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs.
  • Drawing & Design Interpretation: Understands technical drawings to align product and process design.
  • Industrial Engineering Expertise: Applies quantitative analysis and engineering principles to develop efficient manufacturing processes.


Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience: 2+ years in similar roles
