Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Summary
The Product Specialist will be responsible for supporting our Industrial and Lab business partners in providing and identifying component parts, offering alternatives for parts no longer available or in stock, and drive material setup and extension. Additionally, this role supports our Industrial Rental Business in processing and managing rental quotes and orders. The Product Specialist will work closely with Field Sales and Service Representatives, the Service Support Organization, Industrial Distributors, METTLER TOLEDO North American Shipping Hub (AM-HUB), and Masstron.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Establish relationships with distribution partners, field service teams, and end customers to support their aftermarket
parts needs.
* Serve as primary pre-sales support contact for service parts and accessoriesfor Industrial and Lab equipment.
* Support parts research tools and publications.
* Monitor and maintain parts database to ensure proper stocking levels and on-time delivery.
* Align with Material and Costing Teams on material setup and extension.
* Quote customers and distributors on Industrial rentals.
* Create and manage rental orders.
* Assist in inventory and ISO reviews for rental equipment and process.
* Assist Parts Order Management Team in an overflow role.
* Other duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed
Education, Experience & Skills
* Minimum 2 years experience with SAP, service technician or supply chain management, or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
* Experience in inventory management, field service, or customer service preferred.
* Ability to process work with a high degree of accuracy.
* Proven ability to prioritize and efficiently manage multiple assignments.
* Ability to make independent, reasoned decisions.
* Must be a self-starter able to work without the need of close or direct supervision.
* Strong ability to interface with other departments and teams in a professional and cooperative manner.
* Must be computer literate and be proficient with M/S Office with intermediate Excel skills. Our Offer to You
