Rate of Pay: $27.80 per hour. Eligible for overtime and quarterly bonus.

Production Coordinator (Lead):

Assist supervisor with floor duties including help in providing direction for floor production activities.

What You'll Do:

As a Production Coordinator, you will help ensure efficient production flow within a department. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating production activities, providing training assistance to new and existing employees, and assisting in maintaining smooth operations to meet production targets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a passion for optimizing production processes.

Primary Duties:

* Coordinate: Help coordinate production activities within the department, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining an efficient production flow.

* Train: Provide training assistance to new and existing employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process and proper understanding of production procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

* Collaborate: Monitor and track production progress, identifying bottlenecks or issues that may impact production schedules or quality standards. Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve any obstacles.

* Inform: Keep supervisor informed of maintenance needs or other issues in the department.

* Assist: Temporarily assist in positions vacated by absence.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Two years of manufacturing experience desired.

OTHER SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures manual, and to comprehend basic instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor, co-workers and other personnel.

Under the direction of the production supervisor, assists in coordinating/directing/monitoring the production in the area assigned.
