Description Responsible for timely retrieval and processing of appropriate patient charts from patient care areas. Prepares charts for scanning and indexing. Performs quality review to ensure that all patient records and loose documents are scanned with the highest level of quality possible. Performs activities associated with the completion, registration, and timely filing of death certifications in accordance with state regulations. Acts in the capacity of other non-professional positions within the department when needed. Skills Electronic medical record, scanning, customer service Additional Skills & Qualifications HS Diploma or GED 1+ years of performing document scanning/imaging in a high volume hospital medical record department. MUST have experience with indexing medical records MUST have experience from a hospital environment MUST be able to walk at least 40 min per day and carry up to 20 lbs Microsoft Suite proficient Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
