Overview We are seeking an Intensive Care RN, also referred to as an ICU RN or Intensive Care Unit RN. The Intensive Care RN (ICU RN) will be responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN will have advanced skills in critical care settings, make quick decisions, and will be compassionate to all patients. An ICU RN monitors vital signs, blood oxygen levels, administer IV Fluids, and communicates effectively to the medical team to modify care plans accordingly. Bonus Options: up to $20,000 (Paid out as stipends every 90 days) Employment Type: Full Time Shifts Available: Variable Hours: 12-hour shifts - 7:00pm to 7:00am / 7:00am-7:00pm Location: St.Joesph Medical Center - Kansas City, MO Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Health, dental, and vision insurance options
**If you have experience in the ICU, Emergency Room (ER), Emergency Department (ED) or other critical care area of the hospital you are encouraged to apply! Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
6. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
