The Junior Program Analyst will provide direct programmatic and administrative support to the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA-264 Air Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems Program Office. The analyst will assist with financial tracking, acquisition documentation, technical data management, and integrated product team (IPT) coordination in support of program management objectives and life-cycle sustainment activities.

Duties:




  • Support day-to-day program management activities for PMA-264, including tracking action items, maintaining schedules, and assisting in the preparation of program briefs, reports, and correspondence.



  • Assist with the development, review, and coordination of program documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and acquisition milestone documentation in accordance with DoDI 5000.02 and NAVAIR policies.



  • Maintain and update financial tracking tools, monitor funding execution, and assist with budget formulation and spend plans.



  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and other performance metrics to assess contractor performance and program health.



  • Coordinate with functional stakeholders across logistics, engineering, and test IPTs to ensure alignment of program deliverables and milestones.



  • Assist in meeting preparation, record minutes, and track tasker completion for internal and external program reviews (e.g., PMRs, IPRs).



  • Utilize Navy data systems such as NAVAIR PMT, CIRCUITS, and AIRWorks SharePoint sites for program tracking and documentation.



  • Provide administrative and analytical support for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), contract modifications, and task order deliverables.




Required Education:




  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field.




Required Experience:




  • 0-3 years of relevant experience supporting DoD acquisition programs.



  • Familiarity with the DoD 5000.02/5000.88 acquisition framework and NAVAIR processes.



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaborative tools (Teams, SharePoint).



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with government and contractor personnel.




Desired Qualifications:




  • Experience supporting NAVAIR Program Management Activities (PMA) or other Navy acquisition offices.



  • Knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.



  • Familiarity with PMA-264 mission areas (Air ASW Systems, sensors, or undersea warfare technologies).



  • Experience with data analysis, metrics development, or financial reconciliation.





  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.



  • Commitment to high-quality work and continuous professional development in defense acquisition.




Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $39,632.19-$67,228.51 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
