We are looking for a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNAs) to work in our 5-star healthcare facility.The STNA is responsible for providing Resident care according to an approved Care Plan; understand and practice infection control procedures; comply with all documentation/record-keeping policies including vitals. Positions available includes working every other weekend and every other holiday:



  • 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (48 hours per two week pay period) - Sign on Bonus $750.00
  • 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (72 hours per two week pay perdio) - Sign on Bonus $1,000
  • 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. (72 hours per two-week pay period) - Sign on Bonus $1,500

St. Mary of the Woods was built with a deep Catholic foundation, and it has an impeccable reputation for quality care in the marketplace. Built in 2005, it has 179 total units with 81 independent living apartments, 48 assisted living apartments and 50 rooms in skilled nursing and transitional care. It is a five-star facility licensed by Medicare and Medicaid, recognized as a 2024 Best Nursing Home by U.S. News and World Report and is open to people of any faith tradition.

Qualifications:



  • Must have a nursing assistant certification from the state body charged with the responsibility of certifying nursing assistants working in long-term care and be in good standing.
  • Must have previous experience working as an STNA.


Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Must meet all federal, state, and local health regulations and pass a post-employment-offer physical exam. This requirement includes drug screening, criminal background check, and reference screening.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision.
  • Proven history of good judgement, integrity, and consideration to others
  • Maintained awareness and sensitivity to resident needs, interests, and abilities.
  • High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident.
