What to Expect
Manage a small group of equipment maintenance technicians that are responsible for equipment availability, and performance. Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment. Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all tools, machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing facility. Perform supporting activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures. Manage workload with a positive attitude as a hands-on team player in a collaborative work environment.
This person must be able to build upon previous successes and take our Maintenance teams to the next level. Must be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect part quality, production efficiency, work cell ergonomics, equipment maintenance, etc. This person will also have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and management skills, demonstrating the ability to be an innovator and change agent.
What You'll Do
- Manage, mentor and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians focused on equipment reliability and performance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime & efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and robotic equipment issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, procedures and maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental health and safety (EHS) protocols
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate equipment repairs, upgrades and refurbishments
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience
- 3 plus years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong multi-craft skillset in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems and automation
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens or Allen Bradley) and robotic systems
- Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities and optimizing equipment reliability
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and drive results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
