You Are:

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst / Scrum Master who can support project delivery by managing sprints, coordinating tasks, and driving effective communication across teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to lead agile ceremonies and ensure smooth execution of project deliverables.

The Opportunity:

* Support the Scrum process by managing sprints, tracking progress, and coordinating team activities.

* Follow up on tasks and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and transparency across the team.

* Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.

* Perform business and functional analysis, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and impact assessment.

* Conduct data analysis and prepare insights to support decision-making.

* Write and execute SQL queries to extract and validate data as needed.

* Review and interpret JSON/XML data structures and basic Python scripts when required.

* Prepare comprehensive documentation, including requirement specs, functional designs, and user stories.

* Ask insightful questions, proactively identify issues, and work independently with minimal supervision.

What You Need:

* 5 - 8 years of experience

* Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Business Systems Analyst, or a similar hybrid role.

* Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to confidently present and engage with stakeholders.

* Hands-on experience with data querying (SQL), JSON/XML, and Python (basic understanding).

* Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

* Ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and drive clarity in requirements and execution.

* Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

* Nice to Have:

o Experience working with insurance (Annuity) domain projects.

o Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA).

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Iowa

Compensation Range: $73,000-$110,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
