As a Security Guard - Retail Center Patrol - Full Time in Vancouver, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols throughout the property. Your visible presence plays an important role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. This position is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
• Observe activities within the location and report any unusual or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Document all incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Work collaboratively with location management, staff, and/or law enforcement as needed to address concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for patrons.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
