Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Manufacturing in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will perform regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service through strong communication skills. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling various areas as needed. What You'll Do:

• Deliver excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and support site operations.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
