Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities

This position leads the transformation of the patient and family experience. Responsible for managing patient experience projects, curriculum development and delivery, and improvement projects. Will collaborate with unit and department leaders to drive change. This role is focused on developing and implementing strategies to promote excellence in patient and family experience. In addition, this role consults with executives, physicians, staff and leaders on the best practices of patient experience and teaches others at all levels. This role requires solid experience in adult learning concepts, along with advanced project management, organization, analytical and communication skills. Previous clinical experience or experience working in clinical setting preferred.

As a leader in implementing improvements in patient experience, this role requires a strong working knowledge of effective reporting and interpretation of survey results, along with an understanding of statistical concepts. This position requires innovation and creativity. Manages and leads the facility's Patient Liaisons. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business related field required
  • 2-3 years of Healthcare Experience
  • Strong communication, organization and follow-through skills
  • Able to create and make presentations to all levels within the organization and manage projects with an innovative and creative approach which exhibits excellent complex analytical, and change management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Solid ability to analyze and evaluate business problems by defining the challenges, identifying alternatives, and making timely decisions while demonstrating strong knowledge of Patient Experience best practices, and how to best integrate with clinical care
  • Project management experience preferred
