Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Willow Springs Center has been serving patients and their families through comprehensive integrated treatment since 1988. We are a subsidiary of Universal Health Services.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning for a diverse outpatient population. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to holistic, evidence-based care.

* Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

* Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

* Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers

* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed

* Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Nevada

* Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program

* DEA license and prescriptive authority

* Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred

* Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS) with one of the accredited National Certification Organizations (ANCC, AANP).
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia; Certification with a National Certification Board
  • Five (5) years of experience in the area of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing.
  • Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment.
