Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA III). This is a hybrid 6-month contract position with a client located in Columbus, OH.
Compensation: $40.00-50.00/HR W2

Job Description:

Provides support for assigned business process and/or system within a business unit which includes the following: - Maintains, monitors, updates assigned business process and/or system - Researches complex problems and acts independently to resolve - Analyzes existing business process and or systems and determines technical or procedural improvements and implements changes - Develops and provides documentation for users and training purposes Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems supported. Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements. Develops and generates specialized and ad hoc reports. Analyzes reports and makes recommendations for improvements in processes and /or systems. Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users. Acts as liaison between software vendors and process/system users or between users and other corporate areas. May serve as lead analyst in training or projects.

  • Deliverables

  • Demonstrate and document in-depth knowledge of IT application
  • Impacts to and from business, legal, risk, and compliance areas
  • Ability to identify and communicate how IT solutions can strategically assist and support the business area and unit
  • Train team members and end-users on new systems, process, and technologies
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support for other BSAs and impacted segments
  • Identify and document areas of improvement and optimization on business processes/operations, workflows, and systems
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Document and update procedures for internal team
  • Identify stakeholders
  • Ensure all stakeholders receive applicable communication
  • Lead collaborative grooming sessions with stakeholders to define and refine Features, User Stories, Scope, and Requirements
  • Participate in Bug Review and Triage sessions
  • Participate as SME on all project/initiative meetings
  • Scope Presentation (Waterfall)
  • Big Room Planning (Agile)
  • Assist in UAT
  • Assist in coordination of UAT needs for end to end sign off
  • Provide ongoing support for systems and applications post-implementation
  • Team board maintenance
  • Project/initiative dashboard maintenance

Requirements:
  • Senior-level BSA experience (BSA III)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively up, across, and down the organization
  • Experience writing user stories and gathering requirements
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively surface blockers
  • Azure DevOps (ADO) experience - work item refinement and tracking

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Argo experience (highly preferred but rare; manager knows this may be hard to find)
  • If no Argo experience, strong banking background is preferred
  • Familiarity with Teller/ATM environments
  • Ability to clearly summarize and communicate project status to leadership and peers
