| Position Summary |
The Human Resources Coordinator for the School of Law will be responsible for
UGA Jobs position management functions for staff, students, temporary employees, and part-time faculty. This position will also support the key payroll functions for all employees, support HR reporting, provide administrative support to the Law Budget Office, and other HR duties. This position will report to the Human Resources Director for the School of Law. |

Payroll Operations: Manager Self Service Transactions, Dynamic Access and Time and Absence Approver
- Generate various payroll queries/reports to validate payroll for accuracy on a bi-weekly and monthly basis for all paygroups.
- Review and submit changes to time and absence approvers, time reporting method, address, etc.,
- Assist employees and supervisors with modifying time and absence entries and proper approval procedures. Assist employees with self-service transactions (direct deposit, withholding, navigation of site, etc.)
- Communicate and validate USG and UGA payroll policies with employees and supervisors.
- Serve as the backup approver to supervisors to approve in their absence.
- Assist supervisors and others with the delegation and acceptance of approval authority.

- Collaborate with hiring managers on position classification and recruitment process.
- Initiate, review, advise, and/or approve position requests, modifications, postings, and hiring proposals.
- Serve as backup for other UGAJobs actions.
- Maintain and update organizational charts.

- Draft, schedule, and execute implementation of long-range plans and proposals.
- Monitors project progress, drafting and distributing periodic progress reports for leadership.
